To be a partner in ministry is not something new, we read about this in the New Testament.
In Philippians 1:5, the apostle Paul speaks of "Fellowship in the Gospel." In the Greek, this word is "koinonia" which means joint participation or partnership. Paul remembers with joy how the Philippians have stood with him during some tough times (2 Corinthians 4:7-15, 11:23-33). Their partnership has been a source of great strength for Paul and his ministry, he thanked God for them and prayed for them daily.
We believe that a partnership is a covenant relationship and has two sides of responsibility. As the Philippians supported Paul with their prayers and financial giving, God allowed them to share in Paul's victories, to enjoy his rewards, and "partake" of the grace of God poured out on him.
Why does ATWM need partners? ATWM is an outreach to people groups around the world. This is made possible largely by the financial support and prayers of our partners. The vision God has given us is to train up the saints to do the work of the ministry, and to do this, your support is needed to take the Word of God and teaching materials to the people who so desperately need it. In this way we can see the Word of God change countless lives and watch many souls being won into the kingdom.
